The focus and dedication put into The Good Dog Training is a unique and tailored experience for each client. Shelby's education and universal experienced background help to provide a deeper understanding when it comes to dog training and educating clients to understand the meaning behind the process.    Shelby's Background: Shelby grew up in a small town in Missouri. After graduating high school, she joined the United States Navy where she became a Master-At-Arms K9 Handler/Trainer. While serving, she had the honor of working with some of the top dog trainers in Southern California who taught her a plethora of successful dog training techniques. In 2012, she completed a successful deployment to Afghanistan with her military working dog Dino.  After fulfilling her contract with the military, she jumped into private security where she continued working with explosive detection canines in the Middle East.  Her passion is not only in dog training but also in teaching people to understand the importance of proper training techniques.   "Dogs can easily get confused if you give them mixed/unclear signals of what you think you are wanting them to do. At The Good Dog Training Co, I believe in helping dogs reach their full potential and providing owners with the knowledge to help their dogs succeed.
